(2) Medical gauze packed in aseptic way can be used indirectly, while gauze packed in non sterile way can be used before disinfection by low temperature and high pressure steam or ethylene oxide.

(3) As for the medical gauze packed in aseptic way, the invalid period of sterilization, the date of manufacture or the batch number of consumption must be indicated in the package mark, the explanation or identification of forbidden package damage, the clarification or prohibition of reuse for one-time use. If the package is damaged or beyond the expiration date, it will not be purchased or used.

(4) The purchase of medical gauze depends on the appearance of the goods. The product should be soft, odorless, tasteless, pure white in color, free from other fibers and processing substances, and should not show strong blue fluorescence under ultraviolet light.
